‘Substantial progress’ made in US-China trade talks
The US and China are a step closer to making a deal and bringing an end to the trade war.
America claims “substantial progress” has been made during high-level trade talks with China.
This comes after US President Donald Trump imposed tariffs of 145 per cent on China, prompting Beijing to strike back with increased levies of its own.
President Trump has hinted at lowering the rate to 80 per cent.
