Sussan Ley pays tribute after mother's death
Opposition leader Sussan Ley has paid tribute to her mother, who passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Posting on social media, Ms Ley thanked the medical team who provided her mother, Angela, with end-of-life care.
She says it was a ‘gift of fate’ to get to spend one last Mother’s Day together.
The politician says she will forever treasure the moment she walked into her mother’s room after being elected Liberal party leader on Tuesday.
