Sussan Ley shows she has the capacity to ‘steady the ship’ amid Coalition negotiations
The Nationals and Liberals re-entering Coalition talks following the break-up show that Opposition leader Sussan Ley has the capacity to “steady the ship”, according to Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg.
This comes as the Liberal Party has formally endorsed a suite of policy concessions demanded by the Nationals in a dramatic attempt to repair the fractured Coalition.
“I think she’s done a great job in the first couple of weeks in very trying, professional, and personal circumstances, and I know now that the negotiations between Sussan and David are continuing, and I’m optimistic of a good outcome,” Mr Bragg told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
