Tasmanian government accused of freezing nursing and other frontline service jobs | ABC News
The Tasmanian government has released a list of positions it has not filled within the Health and Education departments, among others, since March.
Labor requested the list and it is now accusing the government of “breaking its promise” that it would not cut frontline positions.
The government says not one of the jobs left unfilled is essential to delivering frontline services, and it wants an “effective and efficient state service”.
