Ted O’Brien’s energy plan ‘fell apart’ during election campaign
News Corp Senior Writer Patrick Carlyon claims “nuclear guy” Deputy Opposition Leader Ted O’Brien “fell apart” when he suggested nuclear energy as an alternative during the election campaign.
“Power bills are the big question here,” Mr Carlyon told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“The hip pocket drives a lot more in terms of voters’ sentiment than does saving the world.
“Those power prices are really hurting people.
“How those come down will have a huge bearing on targets.”
