The conservative movement has ‘let Australians down’ amid Liberals’ election loss
Liberal Senator Alex Antic claims the conservative movement has “let Australians down” amid the Liberals’ crushing defeat in the federal election.
“Unfortunately, in this country, conservative politics and the conservative movement has … let Australians down by allowing things that are simply and demonstrably not true to be repeated,” he told Sky News Australia.
The Liberal Party is set to search for Peter Dutton’s successor to take on the role of Opposition leader following the Liberals’ massive defeat in the election against Labor.
