The Nationals are ‘in tune’ with Australian people: Campbell Newman
Former Queensland Liberal premier Campbell Newman questions the future of the Coalition amid reports the Liberals and Nationals could split over key policy disagreements, including nuclear energy.
“The Nats are more in tune with really what needs to happen going forward,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Steve Price.
“They’re rooted in reality as a party.
“What Littleproud is saying by continuing to put forward nuclear is appropriate.”
