Toronto-area businessman gunned down in suspected extortion case
After a Mississauga businessman was killed in what police believe was a targeted shooting on Wednesday, his daughter says the family had been living in fear.
She says her father had been a victim of an extortion attempt more than a year ago.
Around the noon hour, 51-year-old Harjeet Singh Dhadda was gunned down in a hail of bullets as he stepped outside of his truck at his Mississauga business.
The family believes the murder is connected to an extortion call.
