Trade tensions could raise cost of living: Deputy President
Deputy President Paul Mashatile says the ongoing trade tensions may result in a rising cost of living due to increased prices.
He says this will potentially worsen the sluggish economic growth.
The Deputy President addressed the T20 Africa High-Level Dialogue in Pretoria.
The two-day gathering brought together African policymakers, leading think tanks, academics and international experts.
They also want to amplify African voices and contribute meaningfully to the global agenda under the G20 presidency of South Africa.
