Transnet unveils strategy to enhance visibility
Transnet says the turnaround of the entity will largely rely on its engineering division as an Original Equipment Manufacturer .
The entity held a stakeholder ceremony at one of its engeneering plants in Pretoria to outline its engineering strategy and boost its brand visibility.
Transnet will soon launch a rolling stock leasing company, called LeaseCo and is also diversifying on alternative supply of components to make up for the failed 1064 Chinese locomotive deal.
The entity believes the efforts will return it to financial profitability in the coming financial year.
