Trump and Zelenskyy meet at Pope Francis's funeral amid ceasefire talks
Hundreds of thousands gathered to pay their respects at the funeral of Pope Francis, as royals, world leaders, and cardinals joined worshippers to honour the 266th pontiff, who died on Easter Monday.
Amid the solemn occasion, President Trump held a private meeting with President Zelenskyy to discuss a possible ceasefire plan for Ukraine.
After the talks, Trump voiced scepticism over Russia’s commitment to ending the war.
