Trump ‘levels out the playing field’ with tariffs on China
Former defence minister Joel Fitzgibbon discusses a pause on tariffs between the US and China for 90 days.
“It’s an acknowledgement on Donald Trump’s part that no one wins out of a trade war, no one wins in a protected global economy,” Mr Fitzgibbon told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“He sort of knows what he’s doing.
“He genuinely believes, obviously, that it’s not a level playing field.”
