Trump talks of 'freedom zone' for Gaza as medical staff confirm death of 85 Palestinians | ITV News
Local medical staff said that 85 Palestinians were killed today after multiple airstrikes hit Gaza’s southern city of Khan Younis overnight, in what was the second consecutive night of heavy bombing.
The dead included journalist Hasan Saman, who was working for Qatari television network Al Araby TV, the network announced on social media.
President Donald Trump has been on a tour of the Middle East, yet little was said about achieving peace in Gaza. Today he talked of turning it into a ‘freedom zone,’ as ITV News Senior International Correspondent John Irvine reports.
