Trump's crackdown on universities is 'long overdue’
‘Steve Bannon’s War Room’ co-host Natalie Winters has weighed in on the Trump administration’s decision to freeze billions in grants to Harvard University.
The move came just hours after Harvard refused to comply with a list of demands from the administration as part of its campaign against antisemitism.
Ms Winters described the funding freeze as “long overdue,” pointing to universities as “hotbeds of resistance” and what she called “cultural Marxism.”
“What the Trump administration is doing really sets the gold standard for how you actually tackle not just wokeness, but the complete inversion of what these institutions were supposed to stand for, whether it was freedom of expression, freedom of speech,” she told Sky News host Rowan Dean.
