Trump’s tariffs on foreign movies will ‘significantly impact’ the Aussie film industry
Screen Producers Australia Chair Kate Carnell claims there will be a “huge impact” on the film industry if US President Donald Trump goes through with his plan for 100 per cent tariffs on foreign films.
President Trump has confirmed he will speak with Hollywood executives after revealing plans to implement 100 per cent tariffs on films produced outside the US, which includes Australia.
“It is significant, and it will significantly impact upon our industry and the global industry more broadly,” Ms Carnell told Sky News Australia.
