UK Labour sees ‘cross-partisan’ support on preventing Trump addressing parliament
Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue discusses how members of the United Kingdom’s Labour Party are finding “cross-partisan agreement” on claiming Donald Trump addressing the United Kingdom parliament would be inappropriate.
“This has been led by a few members of the Labour Party … said it would be inappropriate for Donald Trump to give a speech to parliament,” Ms Krakue said.
“Given his opinion, wayward views on democracy … there actually, surprisingly has been some cross-partisan agreement.”
