Russian air defense is forced to respond. They activate radars, are forced to monitor these aircraft. And the hunter monitors these air defense systems, transmits data to Ukraine. And then Ukraine can accurately strike and destroy both radar installations and personnel," Stupak added.<br /><br />Earlier, the representative of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk said that Russia is taking air defense from different directions in order to transfer them to Crimea. According to him, they are trying to protect the sky over the occupied peninsula better than the Russian regions themselves.<br /><br />According to military expert Pavel Narozhny, the destruction of Russian air defense in Crimea could mean that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are preparing for further, deeper attacks on the occupied peninsula. He recalled that Crimea is the enemy's logistics base, because most supplies to the temporarily occupied territories go through the peninsula, where goods from the Russian Federation are delivered by sea, and some by road across the bridge, because then it all goes to the front. At the same time, he added that the Russians can also deliver this along the Sea of Azov, but this option is much more difficult and dangerous than through Crimea.<br /><br />"The Ukrainian strikes have been quite successful lately. They may be a prelude to the next more powerful ones, deeper into the territory of Crimea, when bases with fuel and ammunition are destroyed.
