Ukraine and the United States of America signed a Memorandum that confirms the constructive joint work of our teams and our intention to finalize and conclude an agreement that will benefit both of our peoples," stated the official.<br /><br />Svyrydenko also announced that Ukraine is preparing to establish a Reconstruction Investment Fund for Ukraine.<br /><br />"The corresponding agreement will open opportunities for significant investments, infrastructure modernization, and mutually beneficial partnership between Ukraine and the United States - this is the goal that the teams are working towards in the document," she stated in her social media post.<br /><br />Svyrydenko emphasized the importance of confirming that "we reaffirm through our agreements the American people’s desire to invest together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign, and secure Ukraine."<br /><br />"The next steps are finalizing the text of the Agreement and its signing. Then - ratification by the parliaments," said the Head of Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy.<br /><br />She also expressed gratitude to "our technical teams - both Ukrainian and American - for their professional, constructive, and fast work."<br /><br />On April 17, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine and the US could sign a memorandum of intent today regarding the mineral resources agreement.
