The Association of Tour Operators of Russia calculated that these cancellations will affect more than 15 thousand passengers who were planning to fly abroad.<br />For two days, people are forced to sit at the gate, sleep on the floor, and eat at exorbitant prices, not knowing when they will be able to fly out. The same flight can be rescheduled three or four times, and then cancelled altogether. Bottles of water are astronomically priced, as if we were talking about an abandoned warehouse rather than an international air hub. The problems did not pass by high-ranking officials of the presidential administration, who were unable to get into the business lounges: there were no seats. They had to wait in the common area on the floor, like ordinary passengers, facing chaos on an equal basis with everyone else.<br />The transport collapse in Moscow led to disruptions at other Russian airports: delays and cancellations affected Barnaul, Gorno-Altaisk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Norilsk, Omsk and Tomsk due to late arrivals of planes from the capital.
