United Nations humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher has warned 14,000 babies could die in Gaza if vital supplies are not rushed into the strip in the next 48 hours.
Israel has started to allow a small amount of aid into the territory after an 11-week humanitarian blockade and about 100 more trucks have been cleared to cross the border.
