‘Underwhelming’: Dave Sharma on the Coalition’s policy agenda at the election
Liberal Senator Dave Sharma says the policy agenda the Coalition took to the election was “underwhelming” and did not attract a lot of voters.
The Liberal Party’s leadership race could be decided by just one or two votes as shadow treasurer Angus Taylor and deputy leader Sussan Ley prepare to go head-to-head.
“I think there is a strong argument that the party room more broadly was not involved enough in policy formulation and discussion,” Mr Sharma told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
