United States must ‘end its dependence’ on Chinese manufacturing
President of the Centre of the American Experiment John Hinderaker says the United States “must end its dependence” on Chinese manufacturing.
Smartphones and computers will now be exempt from US President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariffs on China.
“We can’t run our military as things stand right now without goods from China,” Mr Hinderaker said.
“That’s the change that really needs to be made and that the Trump administration is in the process of making.”
