"Unusual": Additional checkpoint at BC-US border shocks travellers, causes delays
Travellers crossing the U.S.-Canada border at B.C.’s Peace Arch crossing faced an additional checkpoint when returning to Canada on Monday.
American border officers first set up the new checkpoint just south of the Canadian one last Thursday.
As Global’s Angela Jung reports, the new checkpoint is causing major delays for northbound travellers and at least one U.S, immigration lawyer wants to know what’s changed.
