Upington library closed due to owed Municipality account
The State-of-the-Art Sandile Present library in Upington is closed as a result of non-payment of its municipal account. The library – which also houses the staff from the department of Sport, Arts and Culture in the area – has been closed for four months due to the electricity being cut by the Dawid Kruiper municipality.
The library was a hit among students and book lovers in the surrounding townships.
