US-China 90-day tariff pause kicks in | BBC News
Companies in the US are rushing to get shipments from China as a 90-day pause in the trade war between the world’s two largest economies comes into effect.
US President Donald Trump has called the pause “a total reset” in relations.
Both countries still face some tariffs, however.
There is at least a 30% tax on all Chinese goods entering the US and Beijing has kept a 10% levy on American goods coming into the country, down from 125%.
