US Federal Reserve leaves interest rates unchanged
The U.S. Federal Reserve has announced it will keep the interest rates unchanged, in a range between 4.25 % and 4.5 % aligning with market expectations.
This marks the third consecutive time since January that the Fed has held rates steady.
The Fed says uncertainty about the economic outlook has increased further.
Following a two-day meeting it cited the risks of higher unemployment and rising inflation as key factors influencing its stance.
