US may walk away from mediating Ukraine ceasefire
The Trump Administration says it is committed to supporting peace efforts in Ukraine after signing a new agreement granting Washington preferential access to critical minerals.
However, US officials have warned it will scale back its role as mediator if no major breakthroughs are made to de-escalate the conflict.
The development comes as Russia launched a large-scale drone assault in southeastern Ukraine, leaving dozens injured and at least one person dead.
