Value of political journalists travelling with both parties in modern times is ‘diminished’
Australian Financial Review Political Editor Phillip Coorey discusses the modern differences in political journalists travelling with the government and Opposition in election campaigns.
“It is difficult … the value of travelling I guess is diminished,” Mr Coorey said.
“There is now separate airplanes I guess, when I used to do it the leader would be on the plane with you … that does not happen anymore.”
