This year, French Police will get £175m of UK taxpayer’s money to reduce the number of dangerous channel crossings by illegal migrants.
ITV News filmed dozens of people, including children, scrambling aboard a rubber dinghy in Dunkirk this morning. It returned twice more to collect people risking their lives to come to the UK.
The French police did nothing, and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said their approach to illegal migration was ‘undermining’ the UK’s border security.
