Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Hanoi on Monday to pay a state visit to Vietnam. CGTN Stringer in Hanoi, Vietnam, asked residents about their views on Xi’s visit. University lecturer Nguyen Thi Chau believes the visit is significant for developing bilateral ties. “Looking ahead, everyone surely wants this relationship to grow stronger in all aspects, such as economic development, education, culture and especially tourism,” she said. “I truly hope the relationship between our two countries will continue to flourish.”
