‘We’ll manage economy better’: Peter Dutton defends Coalition’s costings
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has defended the Coalition’s costings, released just two days ahead of the federal election.
“The fact is that we have $40 billion less debt than Labor, so that is a very significant starting point,” Mr Dutton told Sky News Australia.
“A Labor government will always be spending more of your money, and when they run after it, they’ll come after more.
“A Coalition government will manage the economy well, we’ve proven that in the past, and we’ve got strong leadership.”
