Political parties have reacted on the 49 Afrikaners who have left South Africa and acquired refugee status in the United States. Forty-nine Afrikaners travelled to the US over the weekend, after taking up US President Donald Trump’s offer to move there as refugees. The group claims to be ill-treated and facing violence in South Africa.
