Why this is a historic election win for Labor | Australia Votes | ABC NEWS
ABC political lead David Speers says this election is a “Labor landslide” and we would have to go back to Chifley to see a two-party preferred vote count this high.
Labor is currently projected to win about 56 per cent of the two-party preferred vote, although this may change as more votes are counted.
“They are sitting on 86 seats at the moment and to go into a second term with such a big increase is historic,” he says.
