Women in parliament to be ‘front and center’: Jacinta Price
Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians Jacinta Nampijinpa Price claims “merit is what is important” when it comes to choosing positions in parliament rather than gender.
“Merit is what provides outcomes,” Ms Price told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Merit is what you need certainly to be able to fight our fight that we need to fight, as opposed to just putting somebody in a position based on their gender.”
